ABOUT JOE BANANAS

Joe Bananas is arguably Hong Kong's most iconic bar. Opened in the late 80's, it has been an institution to many, a madhouse to some, and certainly a place that caused shaky mornings for more than a few.

Joe Bananas originally open in 1985 and is one of the most iconic bar/restaurants in Hong Kong. Just say to a taxi driver Joe Bananas Wanchai and they will drop you outside the door. The original premises were completely rebuilt and Joe Bananas re-opened its doors on 1st August 2014. With one of the largest professional stages in Hong Kong its live bands play popular music to the late morning.

In addition, Joe Bananas Kowloon is the newest venue added on the lists Joe Bananas Group situated in No. 9 Knutsford Terrace, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Its doors were opened on 8th of February 2024 and it is one of the coolest places to check out Live Music in Kowloon side particularly in a buzzling Tsim Sha Tsui area. The venue transports guests into party mode on arrival. Eat, drink and be merry in the main area with live music featuring well-talented Filipino Bands & Djs performing every night.
